Orchard Series Ciders
Our Orchard Series Ciders are fermented primarily from Finnriver’s estate-grown, organic cider apples and pears, with occasional appearance of apples from our network of small regional orchard allies. These ciders aspire to celebrate the soils, waters and maritime climate of the Chimacum Valley, along with presenting elegant variations on the classic cider.
Sojourn Series Ciders
The Sojourn Series ciders are estate-based bottles that feature the unique profiles of charismatic cider apples grown at the local orchards in our network. These thoughtfully fermented and carefully crafted small-batch ciders offer a superb taste of place and of the elements of the Olympic Peninsula (Vista Ridge), Ashland, OR (Heart of Gold) and Tieton, WA (Sweet Ashmeads). This family of ciders highlights our regional network of orchards and our work to grow rooted relationships with local growers.
Contemporary Ciders
These ciders are more contemporary by modern standards, incorporating ingredients beyond the apple and revealing the versatility and range of cider. They are produced year-round and feature a select blend of organic Pacific Northwest dessert apples fermented, blended and carbonated in our Chimacum cider barn.
Core Ciders
Our 'all-apple' ciders offer unique interpretations of world cider traditions. We seek to show our respect for cider heritage while sharing the innovative spirit in the Finnriver cider barn. Our traditionally-inspired ciders highlight the versatility of cider styles and celebrate the variety of flavor profiles of different apple blends and production methods.

Botanical Ciders
Our Botanical Ciders share the earthy essence of life in the fields and forests of the Olympic Peninsula. They feature local ingredients that are iconic or flourishing in our region and each seeks to capture the essence of the season. Our Botanical Ciders feature cider fermented on the farm using organic apple juice pressed from Pacific Northwest apples and then blended with herbs, spices, roots, leaves, flowers and more...
Cidermaker Series Ciders
The Finnriver Cidermaker Series are conceived and crafted by Finnriver's cidermakers in small exceptional batches, highlighting unusual approaches, blends or styles. A portion of the proceeds from these bottle sales are shared with the crew in a profit-sharing program. The Cidermaker Series Ciders vary from year to year.
Soured Ciders
To make a sour cider is to welcome the wildness of nature into the cider barn — where the fruit of the harvest is gathered, introduced to select microorganisms renowned for stirring up delightful complexity, and then blended from tank and barrel. Sour ales are as old as brewing itself and we reach back in time to the wild multi-organism fermentation traditions developed over the centuries. We release the sour ciders in small batches, often in the Spring.
Fortified Fruit Wines
Our cordial-style dessert fruit wines are fortified with custom-distilled apple brandy made from Finnriver cider, and various succulent organic fruit varieties. Sweet and fruit-forward with luscious deep flavors, these are beautiful as dessert, paired with dessert or for your cocktail creations! Our custom-distilled apple and pear brandies are distilled at Admiralty Distillers in Port Townsend or Skip Rock Distillery in Snohomish, Washington.
The Spirited Wines are our refined, ‘port style’ wines fortified with custom-distilled apple or pear brandy and aged with oak for several months. Thoughtfully crafted for a balance of sweet and heat.

Stonefire - A combination of chili heat, tart apple and apricot mellowed by a dash of sweet, makes for a cider that is both sweeter and spicier than our contemporary habanero. Off-dry, 6.5% abv
Le Fat Cyser - Rich floral Aromatics with ripe summer fruit and an underpinning of biscuit, soil and wax. Sharp up front, twang and bitter balanced against bright cider and fruit. Round earthy notes of fig and berries finishing the adventure with plum based astringency and multi-ball acid. Dry, 6.5% abv
Wildwood Road - Leading aroma of baked apples, warm fruit and wet leather. Bittersweet cider laced with phenolic depth balanced against a gentle butterscotch, well placed acidity and a lingering chewy finish. Off-dry, 6.5% abv
Finnflusse - Light berry with fresh herbaceous vapors flowing through the cider. Sharp twang balanced against the dry bitter of the cranberry. Inspired by the northern German beer style that encourages a lactic fermentation to bring about a sour, cloudy result. Dry, 6.5% abv
Saskaronia - Notes of heat, black pepper and dried fruit. Up front the cider is edgy and tart, mid palate of distant berries and round red fruit, and a complex finish of disappearing acidity and emerging bitterness. Clean end to a wild cider. Off-dry, 6.5% abv
