Finnriver Donations & Community Support
We want our work at Finnriver to be a positive force in the world and we have several programs in place to support our local and regional communities:
- Donations of cider or cider tastings for non-profit community events*
- Non-profit and community event sponsorships
- Educational tours and programs for schools and community organizations
- Farm AIR program: Free ‘activist inspiration and rejuvenation' tours for urban non-profits working for social, ecological and food justice
- Discounts on rental of our community event space for non-profit events
*Cider donations can take the form of pre-made auction baskets or bottled/draft cider for direct service at a non-profit event with a special occasion license. At this time, we do not mail donations. Finnriver staff may sometimes be available to serve if the event has significant opportunity for outreach. Organizations may also be asked to pick donated product up directly from the farm. Given the very high number of requests for cider donations, we have focused our commitment to supporting local/regional organizations who promote the well-being of people and the land and greater equity and social justice in our society, prioritizing those on the North Olympic Peninsula and extending into Puget Sound and greater Washington. We support educational initiatives, but we focus primarily on local schools and do not donate to school fundraisers beyond our own community at this time.
If you are seeking a donation, please go to bottom of this page and fill out the form. We will consider your request and get back to you as soon as we can! Thank you...

EDUCATION & OUTREACH
School and non-profit organizations are welcome to visit Finnriver for educational tours and more. We have hosted many groups in the past from organizations such as: Jefferson County YMCA, Western Washington University, Organic Seed Alliance, Evergreen, Jefferson County FIELD program, Cedar Root Folk School, Port Townsend School District: Maritime Discovery program, North Olympic Salmon Coalition and more. Contact Molly at education@finnriverfarm.com.
FINNRIVER NON-PROFIT RETREATS
Regional non-profit organizations are invited to use the Finnriver Cider Garden and outdoor pavilion for group retreats or educational events at a reduced cost.
FINNRIVER COMMUNITY COLLABORATIONS
We are very open to developing collaborative connections to non-profit organizations that share core values with Finnriver. Let us know if you have ideas for us!
FINNRIVER FARMSTEAD TEN CENTS A BOTTLE PROGRAM
Each Fall, Finnriver harvests apples from across the north Olympic Peninsula, which we ferment into our Farmstead Cider. In appreciation of the community spirit in this cider, we contribute .10 cents per bottle on all bottle sales of the Farmstead towards local youth programs and educational organizations.
DONATIONS
Finnriver is glad to support non-profit organizations with donations of product and tastings when the event aligns with our mission or supports our local community, and when we have the staff or product available. We receive many requests and so in order to respond gracefully, please fill out the following form and let us know what you are planning and how Finnriver can help. We will see if we can help and get back to you. Thank you for the good work you do!
